We read Exodus 17:1-7, a story the kids learned in Sunday School. We talked about needs vs. wants. We prayed, then review memory work for Awanas.

Math

Joe Saxon lesson 70 & multiplication game with mama.

Nate Addition review & practice. Math War with mama & Eli.

Eli Addition & Math War.

Presentation preparation. The kids will bring a treasure in a bag and describe to the class what is inside. The kids will need to remember what clues to give to help make it a fun mystery.

Nate Bob Book & 100 EZ Lesson work. He's quickly picking up the pace on his reading. I wonder how I can help him to feel more confident in his reading? He also worked on penmanship while I worked with his brothers

Joe wrote a rough draft from his story from pictures assignment. Next is adding vocab words, and all our favorite quality tricks to make his writing glow.

We did this over lunch, which means we still need to do the Timeline and Geography.

Notes:

We finished Little House on the Prairie this weekend. Started On the Banks of Plum Creek this a.m. The boys were excited to get on to the next adventure. Eli and I began My Father's Dragon too. I'm anxious to do more Outdoor Hour, going to try and get that in this week!
