No two days alike in the life of a homeschool teacher. All that I plan changes as the days roll on. I tend to leave a lot of room for change. Grace All Over It. By this, I mean...

travel, grandparent time, stopping off at museum & sightseeing, travel, haircuts, packing, unpacking, laundry....Oh, and CC of course, memory master practice, travel, family time, patience, and a funeral.

Tuesday: Sad day

My grandpa passed this morning, and I found out before we started school. The day was school, crying, school, crying, school....angry....stop school. Play time, go to the library

Monday

Bible

Luke 11 & discussion about what a spirit/soul is. We talked about Great Grandpa Dean, and that when he goes to heaven his body will stay behind and he'll get a new body with Christ! Sad and happy.

Math

Joey completed a test
Nate worksheets on subtraction and addition
Eli was sick

Lit
Joe finished his rough draft and added dress ups.
Nate read to us and we did FLL # 17 (Eli was there too)
Nate worked on penmanship as well.

Nate, Joe and I reviewed weeks 1-18 of Geo together.
We also reviewed week 18 of CC

Tuesday

We did school Tuesday and Thurs, unrecorded details.

We did Math, History, CC, Lit, penmanship, Bible and we also mapped out the backyards in measurements. We put it to scale on paper, then dreamed up our dream backyard complete with garden, herbs and forts. :)

Friday Eli was sick. We had planned to go to a museum but missed the day. Bummer. Next time...
